School Project

Now that we've passed spring break the monkeyfriends have returned to scholarly pursuits. They currently attend LAFF (Learning Academy for Furry Friends) which was founded by Mojo in 2002. Mojo and Sox attend classes but they also handle most of the teaching. Some of the Spring courses are:

Comfort Paw/Attack Paw: A study in duality
British Naval History
The many uses of lint
Hiding 101: Blankets
30 minute meals

Anyway, Sox thought it would be a good idea for the class to start work on a project that would welcome little Sheridan into our home. Each monkeyfriend was to come up with a haiku expressing their feelings towards the baby. Some of them had a hard time staying on topic, but I think you'll find this is a talented bunch.

Mojo:
Happy for master
Knit some booties with my lint
Comfort paw all day

Stale smell on my fur
Into the washer I go
Round and round I spin

Round and round I spin
In my toasty warm cocoon
I love the dryer

Sox:
It would be better
If she were a sock baby
Brown and white and red

Chico:
He sits with his Sox
On his master's fluffy couch
Cinco Basura!

Christmas Frog:
Green fur and red hat
Magical powers? Maybe so.
Why am I floating?

Shoulders:
Now there is baby
Before me and frog only
I will throw my poop

Kamork:
You will be like us!
A monkeyfriend forever!
Let's hope for no tail

Zoe:
meow meow hiss
meow meow meow purr
meow purr meow

Samantha:
Cannot get comfy
Pain is all around me now
Ryan will suffer
