2 Weeks Old

Even though Sheridan has been home for two weeks, we are seemingly trapped in a vortex of time and space, where we repeat the same day over and over. Life seemingly continues to move along as scheduled but we however, are privileged to stand on the outside and endure the never-ending cycle of eat, poop, sleep. Don't get me wrong, if my six lucky numbers ever coincide with the Texas lotto, eat sleep and poop will adequately describe the extent of my daily activities until I die.
Despite being exhausted on a permanent basis, having a little baby is the greatest thing ever. I didn't think it could top getting a video iPod for Christmas, or having a sprinkler system installed, but I stand corrected. Here at the Mojobrand laboratories I have been observing Sheridan and the distinct features and characteristics that she's been putting on display for us. Our little bundle of 50% mom and 50% dad has produced some exciting finds!

How Sheridan is like Mommy:
Perpetually looks adorable
Transmits brain waves that make me yield to her will
Loves to gaze at self in mirror
Doesn't care for the statement "Stop crying and go to sleep"

How Sheridan is like Daddy:
Perpetually gassy
Finds cold temperatures unbearable
Poops pants at inopportune times (accidents happen to the best of us)
Likes to stay up late and fuss at the Spurs on TV

Yesterday we took Sheridan to the doctor for her two week checkup and she performed admirably. I am pleased to report Sheridan has inherited her mother's toughness and the fake tail Mojo tried to glue on her came off with just a little bit of soap and water. After measuring her vitals the doctor told us Sheridan is in the 95 percentile for height and weight. She is going to be a big girl! Armed with this crucial information, Shoulders and Christmas Frog fed these statistics into a computer which predicted what Sheridan will look like as an adult. I think we may want to get a second opinion...

you might want to warn her now: the spurs simply cannot defeat the mavericks.
